What: Stargazing and camping at Spruce Knob Lake, it’s one of the darkest skies in the east! We will be going during new moon, so stargazing and Milky Way viewing will be extraordinary at this time of the year!

Activities: Hiking and/or exploring the area in our rigs.

Where: Spruce Knob Lake Campgrounds in Monongahela NF in West Virginia

Class 2: Beginner Overland

Trail Difficulty: Mild obstacles, shallow water crossings, and mild inclines

Activities: Overland focused. All Class 1 activities plus light off-roading with skill-building opportunities

Camping: Campgrounds or dispersed

Vehicle: Stock 4WD/AWD vehicles or lightly modified rigs

Driver Experience: Basic knowledge of 4WD systems and mall parking lots
